What we did
In 2023, the three organizations responsible for decommissioning the UK’s first generation of nuclear sites merged into one. With the UK government committed to building new nuclear power stations to help meet its net zero targets, the new organization needed to inspire confidence in its sustainable approach, meaning we would need to create a completely new brand from scratch.
Stein conducted in-depth research, isolating the name Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) and the brand positioning “For all our futures,” which conveyed the organization’s commitment to leaving positive legacies. The team created a complete rebranding, including a new visual identity system, messaging architecture and guidelines. The new brand was brought to life with the amazing brand video, filmed on location at an NRS site in beautiful North Wales, UK.
The “For all our futures” branding project had an inspirational effect on the internal audience, increasing the company’s employee advocacy score by 43%. NRS also recorded a significant uplift in engagement with communities in areas that surround its sites: site stakeholder groups measured an 80% uplift in interactions with local businesses.
